Y LOS NOMINADO SON...

Hoy se dieron a conocer las nominaciones de la 65º Entrega de los Premios Golden Globes, considerados por muchos especialistas como la antesala de los Oscars. Entre los datos más destacados están las 7 nominaciones obtenidas por la gran favorita “Atonement” (Keira Knightley incluida como mejor actriz), las 4 de “No Country for Old Men” (que significa el regreso con gloria de los Coen) y “Sweeney Todd” (con la correspondiente distinción para el genial Tim Burton) y otras 3 para “Hairspray”. El filme independiente “Juno” cumplió con los pronósticos y consiguió 3 nominaciones también. Pero la gran sorpresa fue la excelente performance de las cintas “Eastern Promises” de David Cronenberg, “American Gangster” de Ridley Scott, “The Diving Bell And The Butterfly”, que cosecharon 3 nominaciones cada una, “Michael Clayton” 4, y “Charlie Wilson's War” de Mike Nichols 5. El desconcierto radica en que dichos filmes no eran firmes candidatos a la nominación, como si lo era “There will be blood” que obtuvo tan solo dos candidaturas y “Gone Baby Gone” (el filme de Ben Affleck), otra favorita, una.
En el rubro televisión las extrañezas se encuentran por el lado de “The Soprano" y “Ugly Betty” (que lograron solo 1 candidatura para sus actrices), y las ausencias de “Lost” y “Amas de casas desesperadas”. Afortunadamente la serie estreno “Pushing Daisies” consiguió 3 distinciones en el rubro comedia y “Damages” logró 4 en el apartado drama, convirtiéndose así en la serie de TV mas nominada junto a la miniserie “Longford”.
La ceremonia de entrega se llevará a cabo el 13 de enero en The Beverly Hilton Hotel y en la misma se condecorará a Steven Spielberg con el tradicional premio Cecil B. DeMille.
